How to Use the Batch Rename Tool
This Batch Rename Tool allows you to rename multiple files at once with flexible options such as prefix, suffix, index numbers, and full-name replacement. Follow the steps below to quickly rename and download your files.
1. Upload Your Files
- Click the + icon or drag and drop files into the upload area.
- Your uploaded files will appear in a list with their original names and renamed preview.
2. Choose a Rename Mode
You can choose between two modes:
- Replace whole name: Enter a brand new filename base. Numbers or suffixes will apply if enabled.
- Add string to current: Add a prefix or suffix to the existing filename.
3. Add Prefix or Suffix Index (Optional)
If you need automatic numbering:
- Enable Prefix Index or Suffix Index.
- Configure Start, Step, and Pad to control numbering.

Example: With Start=1, Step=1, Pad=3 → output becomes
001, 002, 003...
4. Select or Deselect Files
Use the checkbox next to each file or the Select / Deselect All option to choose which files you want to rename.
5. Preview the Result
As you modify settings, the tool automatically updates the preview showing how each file will be renamed.
6. Download the Renamed Files
- Click Rename & Download.
- Your selected files will be packaged into a ZIP archive.
Troubleshooting Tips
- If the download does not start, make sure at least one file is selected.
- Ensure your browser allows automatic ZIP downloads.
